Bangkok toegevoegd aan Formule E-kalender

De Formule E heeft een negende ronde voor het debuutseizoen in 2014 aangekondigd. Bangkok, de hoofdstad van Thailand, zal volgend jaar een race organiseren. De andere steden op het voorlopige schema zijn Londen, Rome, Los Angeles, Beijing, Miami, Putrajaya, Buenos Aires en Rio de Janeiro.

Organisator Alejandro Agag: Het doet ons deugd om te gast te zijn in Bangkok en we zijn de Thaise autoriteiten dankbaar voor hun hartelijke welkom. We zijn zeer onder de indruk van de toewijding van Thailand voor schone energie en duurzame autosport, alsmede hun groeiende autosportprogramma. Een Formule E-race door deze verbluffende stad zou een geweldig spektakel en een impuls voor het toerisme betekenen.
