Force India heeft oplossing voor wielmoer-probleem paraat

Het team van Force India en wielmoeren, het vormt geen gelukkig huwelijk dit jaar. De Indiase renstal moest in Maleisië al beide rijders uit de race halen omdat het niet kon garanderen dat ze de wielen goed vast konden monteren en in Spanje viel Adrian Sutil uit met een verkeerde geschroefde wielmoer. Maar er gloort licht aan de horizon, als het goed is behoren de problemen tot het verleden.

Sutil legt uit: "Ik denk niet in termen van geluk en pech, dingen gebeuren en daar moet je mee aan de slag. Veel problemen die we hebben gehad waren klein, maar hadden wel een grote impact op onze races. In Barcelona was het een kleine wielmoer die ons parten speelden en een pitstop van meer dan een minuut veroorzaakte. De snelheid van de wagen was wederom indrukwekkend. Het is goed om te weten dat we een sterk pakket hebben. Nu is het zaak om alle stukjes van de puzzel op de juiste plek te leggen. Het probleem dat we hadden, dat hebben we opgelost. Het was een ander mankement dan op Sepang en het is een kwestie van tijd voordat ik weer resultaten behaal. Ik geef niet op, ik knok hard, probeer slim te zijn en hopelijk valt het binnenkort dan mijn kant op."
