Mercedes moet op 20 juni voor het tribunaal verschijnen aangaande de controversiële testsessie op het circuit van Barcelona in mei. Red Bull en Ferrari hadden hiervoor een protest ingediend en de FIA bevestigde vorige week al dat de zaak doorverwezen zou worden naar het nieuwe tribunaal. Nu is er dus een datum.

De hoorzitting zal om 09:30 beginnen en volgens de FIA zal er snel een uitspraak komen na het treffen. Pirelli zal zich ook moeten melden voor het tribunaal. De bandenleverancier kan geen sanctie krijgen omdat het geen deelnemer is, maar moet wel tekst en uitleg geven over het voorval.
