Driedaagse test op Silverstone toegankelijk voor publiek

Fans mogen de young drivers-test (of driedaagse bandentest) van 17 tot en met 19 juli op het circuit van Silverstone bijwonen. Het uitgangspunt was eerst om de test achter gesloten deuren plaats te laten vinden, maar na overleg van de FOTA zijn tickets voor alle dagen beschikbaar gesteld.

Tien teams nemen deel aan de test, die mogelijk een ander karakter krijgt na de recente problemen met de banden. Mercedes is geschorst. De teams zijn ook akkoord gegaan met het meenemen van show-modellen om aan het einde van elke dag aan het publiek te tonen.
