McLaren roept trio Magnussen, Turvey en Paffett op voor test

Het team van McLaren heeft de line-up voor de young drivers-test van 17 tot en met 19 juli op het circuit van Silverstone bekendgemaakt. Testrijders Oliver Turvey en Gary Paffett krijgen net als vorig jaar in Abu Dhabi gezelschap van de talentvolle Kevin Magnussen.

Kevin Magnussen is een 20-jarige Deen en de zoon van voormalig Formule 1-coureur Jan Magnussen. Hij racet in de World Series by Renault en bezet daarin de tweede plek, vlak achter Stoffel Vandoorne. Magnussen neemt op Silverstone de eerste dag voor zijn rekening en overhandigt de McLaren voor dag 2 aan Turvey, waarna Paffett de test vrijdag af mag sluiten.
