Video: Webber verslaat Vettel wel in programma Top Gear

Red Bull Racing-coureur Mark Webber was gisteren te gast in een aflevering van het populaire BBC-programma Top Gear. Naast een interview waarbij de Australiër af en toe gevat uit de hoek kwam legde hij ook een rondje af in de reasonably-priced car. Webber was niet sneller dan Lewis Hamilton, maar hij nestelde zich wel op de tweede plek, voor teamgenoot Sebastian Vettel.

    Hahahaha geweldige kerel en het interview met Clarkson. Het is jammer dat hij volgend seizoen er niet meer bij zal zijn, in de Formule 1.

      tja en webber had al meer ervaring met die auto ;). ik weet zeker dat vettel ook nog een keer gaat en dan weer sneller gaat als hamilton.

      Uiteraard, Rowan Atkinson heeft een betere tijd staan in dat ding... Betekent dat ook dat hij sneller is dan Hamilton en Vettel? Nee, er is niets geloofwaardigs aan natuurlijk. Hamilton kende het TG-circuit op z\'n duimpje en kreeg zelfs twee kansen. Webber is waarschijnlijk meer ervaren in \"gewone\" auto\'s. Laat ze een kampioenschap uitrijden en Vettel wint toch van Webber hoor.

      De snelste tijd in de Liana was dacht ik toch echt Ellen MacArthur met een 1:46.7.
      Atkinson heeft nooit in de Liana gereden, enkel de Cee-apostrof-d

      ik ben gewoon een op-de-tenen-getrapte Vettel-fan die zijn feiten niet checkt... haha... Ik vind de mensen die hier conclusies uit trekken zo belachelijk dat ik mezelf belachelijk maak haha... Waarom hou ik er mij ook mee bezig haha Je hebt natuurlijk gelijk, Tomos, al vond ik het wel plausibel omdat Atkinson zeer ervaren is met straatwagens.

    Geweldig! Dit maakt topgear ook leuk! En geweldig hoe hij doet over zal je Vettel missen xD En hoe ze daar ook zo kort uit de bocht komen... xD over alles horen behalve Don\'t enz xD

    Valt me wel weer op hoe de vettelfans weer geraakt zijn.
    Ik ga hem missen enkel en alleen al maar om z\'n ongezouten meingen.

      Clarkson zegt/vraagt \"begon het bij Maleisië?\" (geen eens 2012, maar hij refereerde naar 2013), en Webber reageerde alleen maar op de opmerking van Clarkson

      Ik bedoelde inderdaad 2013, maar hij zegt daar gewoon rechtstreeks ja op. Hij vergeet voor het gemak wat hijzelf in het verleden heeft gedaan om de orde in het team te verstoren. Webber is één van de grootste blaaskaken in de paddock. Hij doet alsof hij steeds op het tweede plan staat achter de boze Sebastian Vettel, maar intussen heeft hij wel een superrelatie met Horner en Mateschitz. Daarnaast teken hij jaar na jaar bij voor dat team dat hem zoveel onrecht aandoet. Onzin gewoon.
