Suzuka tot en met 2018 verzekerd van Japanse Grand Prix

Het circuit van Suzuka prijkt minstens nog vijf jaar op de Formule 1-kalender. De organisatie van de Grand Prix van Japan heeft een nieuw akkoord gesloten met Bernie Ecclestone. Speed Week stelt dat Suzuka in elk geval tot en met 2018 de Formule 1 ontvangt.

Racepromotor Masaro Unno deelde in België aan correspondent Agnes Carlier mede: "We hadden eigenlijk geen ander resultaat verwacht tijdens de onderhandelingen. Desalniettemin is het een mooi gezicht om het document door Ecclestone gesigneerd onder ogen te krijgen."
