Raikkonen beoordeelt rugblessure in eerste vrije training

Lotus-coureur Kimi Raikkonen begint in elk geval aan het Grand Prix-weekend in Zuid-Korea. De Fin kampte in Singapore met rugklachten en het is onzeker of de wereldkampioen van 2007 helemaal fit geraakt voor Yeongam. Een operatie is vooralsnog echter niet aan de orde.

Raikkonen: "Het was op zondag in Singapore wel beter dan op zaterdag, toen voelde het niet goed aan. Het belangrijkste was dat ik kon racen en dat we met een podium nog een mooi resultaat in de wacht sleepten. Het is niet de eerste keer dat ik problemen heb, het komt wel vaker voor dat ik rugklachten heb. We zullen zien hoe het is wanneer ik vrijdag in Zuid-Korea de baan op ga voor de eerste vrije training."
