Snoeks kijkt met opgeheven hoofd terug op eerste weekend

Kelvin Snoeks heeft afgelopen weekend zijn eerste races gereden in de Formule 2 op Silverstone. Vooral de trainingen verliepen erg goed voor Snoeks, maar in de tweede race kende de Nederlander wat pech. Toch verlaat Snoeks het circuit in Silverstone met opgeheven hoofd.

"Ik heb met volle teugen genoten van de eerste race op zondagochtend", vertelde Snoeks op zijn website. "Hoewel het niet makkelijk is om met deze wagen tegenstanders in te halen, ben ik daarin toch met vlag en wimpel geslaagd. Jammer dat ik tijdens de tweede race niet de kans kreeg om deze inhaalrace nog eens over te doen."

"Toch denk ik dat ik met opgeheven hoofd het circuit mag verlaten. De wagen en eigenlijk de hele serie ligt me erg goed en ik heb de snelheid goed te pakken. Ik kijk dan ook al uit naar onze volgende races op het stratencircuit van Marrakech, waar we in het voorprogramma van het FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) zullen uitkomen.
