Bailly blijft aan kop tijdens tweede training in Portimao

Benjamin Bailly heeft de eerste dag in Portimao succesvol afgesloten. De Belg was al tijdens de eerste vrije training in Portugal dominant en zette deze goede lijn door in de tweede training. Kelvin Snoeks eindigde de eerste dag op de tiende plaats.

Bailly reed vanochtend maar liefst acht tienden sneller dan wie dan ook, in de tweede training was zijn voorsprong flink geslonken. Desondanks bleef de Belg iedereen voor en eindigde met zijn 1:37.519 ruim drie honderdsten voor Jack Clarke. Kazim Vasiliauskas volgde op de derde positie.

Kampioenschapsleider Jolyon Palmer reed de vierde tijd en ook Will Bratt op de vijfde plaats reed nog binnen twee tienden van Bailly. Ricardo Teixeira eindigde als zesde, gevolgd door Nicola de Marco, Ivan Samarin en Dean Stoneman. Kelvin Snoeks reed de tiende tijd op negen tienden achterstand van Bailly.
