Dean Stoneman heeft ook in de tweede vrije training voor de Formule 2-races op het circuit van Brands Hatch de beste tijd genoteerd. De Brit was vanochtend nog nipt de snelste, in de middagtraining stond er geen maat op hem.

Stoneman was ruim zeven tienden sneller dan de man op de tweede positie, Will Bratt. Tom Gladdis eindigde op 0,837 seconde als derde. Kampioenschapleider Jolyon Palmer herstelde zich van een matige eerste sessie en klokte nu de vijfde tijd.
