Dean Stoneman pakt pole position voor eerste race op Brands Hatch

Dean Stoneman heeft vandaag voor de eerste race op Brands Hatch de pole position veroverd. De Brit reed een 1:15,758 en was daarmee vier tienden sneller dan Sergei Afanasiev. Kampioenschapsleider Jolyon Palmer kwam niet verder dan de zevende plaats.

Jack Clarke start de eerste race vanaf de derde positie, nadat hij eerder in de sessie nog de voorlopige pole met een voorsprong van 0.001 seconden in handen had. Will Bratt pakte de vierde startplaats, gevolgd door Tom Gladdis en Ivan Samarin.
