Dean Stoneman ook voor tweede race Brno op pole

Dean Stoneman zal ook de tweede race op het circuit van Brno vanaf de pole position vertrekken. De Brit reed een 1:45.683 en was daarmee ruim vier tienden sneller dan titelrivaal Jolyon Palmer en Philipp Eng op de derde plaats.

Nadat Stoneman gisteren al door zijn tweede plaats in de eerste race de leiding in het kampioenschap had overgenomen, was hij in de kwalificatie voor de tweede race onklopbaar. Met zijn rondje was hij ruim vier tienden sneller dan rivaal Jolyon Palmer. Philipp Eng pakte een keurige derde startplaats.

Kazim Vasiliauskas zal de tweede race als vierde starten, gevolgd door Nicola De Marco. Sergei Afanasiev stond met zijn zesde tijd al een seconde achter, gevolgd door Benjamin Lariche en de Belg Benjamin Bailly. Kelvin Snoeks pakte de twaalfde startplaats op 1,4 seconden achterstand.
