Vasiliauskas blijft titelkandidaat Stoneman voor op nat Valencia

Kazim Vasiliauskas heeft in de tweede vrije training op het circuit van Valencia de snelste tijd laten noreren. De Litouwer zette zijn tijd in de eerste vijf minuten van de sessie waarna het weer verslechterde. Titelkandidaat Dean Stoneman besloot de sessie als tweede.

Kelvin Snoeks gaf op de zesde positie ruim een seconde toe op Vasiliauskas. De Belg Benjamin Bailly reed de achtste tijd. De enige concurrent van Stoneman voor de titel, Jolyon Palmer, ging op een opdrogende baan aan het einde door op regenbanden en kwam niet verder dan de langzaamste tijd, op meer dan twaalf seconden van Vasiliauskas.
