Samenwerking met BWT resulteert in naamsverandering Arden

Arden International zal in 2018 door het leven gaan als BWT Arden. Het Britse Formule 2-team heeft een contract gesloten met watertechnologiebedrijf BWT en komt komend seizoen uit in het kenmerkende roze van haar nieuwe partner.

BWT is geen onbekende binnen de autosport. Formule 1-team Force India rijdt sinds vorig seizoen al in het roze van het Oostenrijkse waterbedrijf rond en ook in de Formule 3 en Formule 4 is BWT met roze kleurstellingen aanwezig. Dit jaar zal Arden aan het portfolio van het bedrijf toegevoegd worden en coureur Maximilian Günther, die door de Oostenrijkers gesponsord wordt, zal voor de renstal aan de slag gaan.

Teambaas en CEO Garry Horner, vader van Red Bull Racing-teambaas Christian, is vanzelfsprekend blij met de deal. "We zijn uitgelaten dat we deze spannende samenwerking met BWT aan mogen kondigen. Arden zal daardoor de opvallende kleurstelling van BWT naar de Formule 2 brengen. BWT is een uitgesproken supporter van de autosport en ik ben trots dat ze Arden gekozen hebben om hun merk uit te breiden naar de Formule 2."
