Alex Brundle keert na jaar Formule 3 terug in Formule 2

Alex Brundle racet in 2011 weer in de Formule 2. De zoon van oud Formule 1-coureur Martin Brundle stond op de grid tijdens het eerste seizoen van de Formule 2 nieuwe stijl in 2009, maar koos vorig jaar voor een jaargang in het Britse Formule 3-kampioenschap.

Brundle: Ik ben opgewonden om terug te keren in de Formule 2. Ik genoot van de wintertests en de goede prestaties hielpen eerlijk gezegd om weer voor deze klasse te kiezen. Deze auto lijkt me gewoon beter te liggen dan een Formule 3-bolide.

Ik voel me wel een betere coureur dan een jaar geleden en ik ben benieuwd hoe het nu zal gaan in de Formule 2. Ik ga geen doelstelling uitspreken, maar ik kijk uit om toe te passen wat ik geleerd heb, ik ga hard werken en denk dat ik kans maak om het goed te doen.
