Mihai Marinescu stelt plek op Formule 2-grid veilig

Mihai Marinescu komt ook dit seizoen in actie in de Formule 2. Vorig jaar eindigde hij met 68 punten als elfde in de opstapklasse. De Roemeen is de 21ste coureur op de Formule 2-grid voor de komende jaargang, dat aanstaand weekend in Silverstone aanvangt.

Marinescu: Vorig jaar verliep vrij goed en die ervaring wil ik dit seizoen benutten om het nog beter te doen. Het testen op Silverstone ging zeer behoorlijk en ik voel vertrouwen op deze baan, dus ik hoop op het podium. In het kampioenschap is het mijn doel om een plek in de top drie te bemachtigen en ik kijk met een schuin oog naar de Formule 1-test voor Williams (de beloning voor de kampioen, red.).
