Ook Formule 2-team neemt afscheid van Uralkali

De oorlog in Oekraïne is aanleiding voor veel verregaande sancties over de gehele wereld. Ook in de autosportwereld neemt men maatregelen. De Formule 1 heeft de contracten met de promotor van de Russische Grand Prix verscheurd, het team van Haas verwijderde alle Russische verwijzingen van de wagen en daarnaast wezen ze ook Nikita Mazepin de deur.

Het team van Haas verwijderde de sponsorstickers van Uralkali. De vader van Mazepin is mede-eigenaar van het bedrijf en hij pompte veel roebels in de race-loopbaan van zoon. Ook in de Formule 2 steunde hij het team van zijn zoon op het financiële vlak. Op de bolides van Hitech Grand Prix waren de Uralkali-logo's dan ook veelvuldig aanwezig.

Ook na de Formule 1-promotie van Mazepin bleven de logo's zichtbaar op de Formule 2 en Formule 3-wagens van Hitech. Het team heeft nu echter besloten om de banden met Uralkali door te snijden. De ploeg neemt het besluit vanzelfsprekend na aanleiding van de oorlog in Oekraïne. In een statement is Hitech duidelijk: "We zijn als team ,net als de rest van de autosportwereld, geshockeerd door de invasie in Oekraïne. Wij wensen dan ook een snel en vredig einde van het conflict."

Ik weet niet of ik graag tieten wil hebben. Ten eerste omdat ik er dan de hele dag aan zit te friemelen, ten tweede omdat ik al voor l*l loop met een snorkel op m'n harses.

  @Snork dat zou ik ook proberen als Hitech zijnde. Voor de zekerheid de waarde nu in roebels vast laten leggen. Moet er later toch nog iets betaald worden kan dat misschien een voordeeltje opleveren.

  THW, aangezien de mondkapjes niet meer verplicht zijn heb ik geen actieve herinneringen meer aan mondkampjes voor mijn snorkel ;-)
