Invicta Virtuosi kiest voor bijzondere nieuwe teamnaam

Aankomend seizoen staat er een nieuwe naam op de grid in de Formule 2. Het gaat in dit geval niet om een nieuwe coureur, maar om een nieuw team. Eén van de teams heeft namelijk de teamnaam gewijzigd vlak voor het einde van het jaar, verder verandert er weinig.

Het team van Team Invicta Virtuosi Racing heeft de naam gewijzigd voor het aanstaande Formule 2-seizoen. Vanaf 2024 rijdt het team onder de naam Invicta Racing. De Invicta Watch Group heeft het team opgekocht en dat betekent dat de renstal de look zal gaan krijgen van de nieuw eigenaar. Het van oorsprong Zwitserse horlogemerk gaat het team dus sponsoren, wel houden ze vast aan de line-up bestaand uit Formule 3-kampioen Gabriel Bortoleto en Kush Maini.
