Naam Carlin verdwijnt, Rodin neemt de teams over

De naam Carlin zal niet meer terugkeren in de opstapklassen van de autosport. De naam van het Britse team verdwijnt en het team zal nu volledig gaan rijden onder de naam van Rodin Motorsport. Het is een opvallende move van het Nieuw-Zeelandse bedrijf van David Dicker.

In de afgelopen jaren stond het team op de grid onder de naam van Rodin Carlin. Vandaag is bekend gemaakt dat het team voortaan zal gaan rijden onder de naam Rodin Motorsport. Het Nieuw-Zeelandse autobedrijf van David Dicker neemt het team nu volledig over. Ze zullen onder de nieuwe naam en met een zwart-witte livery gaan rijden in de Formule 2, Formule 3, F1 Academy, GB3, Spaanse Formule 4 en de Britse Formule 4. Dicker probeerde vorig jaar ook de Formule 1 te betreden met het team. Teamoprichter Trevor Carlin is vertrokken.
