Parthiva Sureshwaren is komend seizoen weer in de Formule 2 actief. De bijna 31-jarige Indiase coureur is sinds 2010 een vaste waarde in de opstapklasse en scoorde in twee jaar slechts één puntje. Desondanks bezorgt sponso Lycamobile hem ook voor 2012 een stoeltje in de Formule 2.

Sureshwaren: Ik ben erg blij met opnieuw een seizoen in de Formule 2, nadat ik in de afgelopen twee jaar nuttige ervaring op heb gedaan. Ik kijk met vertrouwen uit naar de nieuwe jaargang, ik begrijp de auto beter en ik ben beter voorbereid. 2012 is een belangrijk jaar voor me, dus ik zet alles op alles om mijn beste resultaten ooit te behalen. Mijn doel is om regelmatig in de punten te finishen en misschien een paar keer op het podium te belanden.
