David Zhu eerste Chinees in de Formule 2 in 2012

David Zhu neemt dit jaar deel aan het Formule 2-kampioenschap. De 21-jarige coureur is de eerste Chinees ooit in de opstapklasse. Hij gaat dan ook als ambassadeur voor de Formule 2 in China dienen. Zhu was vorig jaar actief in de Formula Pilota China en eindigde daarin als achtste.

Ik heb genoten van de tests met de Williams Formule 2-auto, begint de Chinees. De aanpasbare voorvleugel, de roll bar en de overboost maken het een geweldige wagen om de sporen te geven. Nu moet ik nog wennen aan het rijden met deze bolide tijdens een race! 2012 wordt mijn eerste jaar in Europa en ik ben de eerste Chinees in de Formule 2. Ik ga alles geven om podiumplekken te behalen en alle circuits te leren. Mijn doel is de top drie, maar dat wordt zwaar.
