Lotus stalt talent Ocon bij Prema Powerteam

Esteban Ocon is dit jaar een van de teamgenoten van Dennis van de Laar in het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap. De 17-jarige Fransman is bevestigd door Prema Powerteam. De afgelopen twee jaar was hij actief in de Formule Renault 2.0.

Eind 2013 racete hij al voor Prema in de prestigieuze Macau Grand Prix. Ocon maakt ook deel uit van het opleidingsprogramma van Lotus. "Ik ben heel blij en trots om door Prema verkozen te zijn voor een campagne in 2014. Na Macau en de wintertests voel ik me klaar om de eer van dit team en die van de opleiding van Lotus met verve te verdedigen."
