Carlin legt Jones vast voor Europees kampioenschap

Ed Jones komt dit jaar namens Carlin uit in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De in Dubai gevestigde 18-jarige coureur is de regerend Formule 3 Open-kampioen. Hij deed vorig jaar in Hockenheim ook wat ervaring op in het Europees kampioenschap.

Jones: "Carlin heeft een fantastische reputatie in de Formule 3 en het is opwindend om bij dit team aan te sluiten voor komend seizoen. Voor de kerst heb ik een paar dagen getest en de auto beviel me zeer goed. Ik kan niet wachten om de voorbereidingen te hervatten in de eerstvolgende test."
