Van der Zande besluit testseizoen met derde tijd

Renger van der Zande gaat dit jaar op jacht naar successen in de Formule 3 Euroseries, wat volgende week van start gaat. De jonge Nederlander heeft in ieder geval een goede laatste testweek op het circuit van Magny-Cours achter de rug. Op de laatste testdag snelde de Prema Powerteam-coureur naar de derde tijd.

Gisteren ging het opnieuw prima, zei Renger. In de ochtend zaten we er gewoon de hele tijd goed bij en s middags probeerden we nog enkele nieuwe dingen, waardoor het rijden van een snelle tijd even niet zo belangrijk was. De afgelopen twee dagen in Magny-Cours waren bijzonder vruchtbaar en we hebben gewoon laten zien dat het met onze snelheid wel goed zit.

Op 12 april rijden we onze eerste race van het seizoen en ik heb er bijzonder veel zin in. Gezien onze testresultaten is het helemaal niet gek om te zeggen dat we gewoon voor het podium zullen gaan. Als ik me in de kwalificatie in de top vijf kan rijden, is vanuit daar van alles mogelijk. We gaan de komende week nog wat laatste dingetjes bestuderen en dan gaat het eindelijk beginnen. Ik kan niet wachten!
