Kazuya Oshima pakt eerste overwinning

Kazuya Oshima heeft vanmorgen zijn eerste overwinning in de Formule 3 Euroserie gepakt. De Japanse pole-sitter maakte een start vanuit het boekje en kwam mede door chaos in de eerste bochten in de openingsronde door met een voorsprong van een seconde op de rest van het veld.

Yann Clairay rijdt in de openingsfase als tweede rond en blijkt wederom moeilijk om te passeren. Christian Vietoris heeft er negentien ronden voor nodig. Dan begaat Clairay ecaxt dezelfde fout als gisteren. Hij schiet wijd in de eerste bocht en verleent vrije doorgang voor Vietoris. De Duitser zet vervolgens de achtervolging in op Oshima, maar de voorsprong is te groot om een gevaar te vormen.

In de openingsronde is het overduidelijk Jules Bianchi die profiteert van de chaos. Hij katapulteert zichzelf vanaf de 27e startplaats naar de vijfde plek. Teamgenoot Nico Hulkenberg wordt slachtoffer van de chaos, maar doordat Eduardo Mortara, Renger van der Zande en Mika Maki allemaal niet scoren behoudt hij zijn voorsprong in het kampioenschap.
