Prema Powerteam verlengt contract Coletti

Het Prema Powerteam heeft de verbintenis van Stefano Coletti verlengd. De 19-jarige coureur uit Monaco reed in 2008 al vier ronden van het Formule 3 Euroseries-kampioenschap voor het team en hij heeft de teamleiding dusdanig overtuigd dat hij nu een vaste coureur van de renstal is.

Coletti: Ik moet Prema bedanken voor de kans die ze me in 2008 boden. In een moeilijke periode van mijn loopbaan geloofden ze in mij en gaven mij een racestoeltje. Komend seizoen wordt zwaar en belangrijk, want mijn doel is om successen te boeken. Ik vertrouw dat Prema me alle hulp zal bieden om die doelstelling te verwezenlijken.

Prema-teambaas Angelo Rosin: Dat we ons verzekerd hebben van een coureur met veel talent zoals Stefano geeft ons de gelegenheid om de toekomst met vertrouwen tegemoet te zien. Hij boekte enorme progressie tijdens zijn periode met ons, leerde veel en gaf goede technische feedback. We starten het jaar met maximale focus om tot de kanshebbers voor de titel die we in 2003 wonnen te behoren.
