Goede prestaties Van der Zande beloond met plek in Euroseries

De goede prestaties van Renger van der Zande in het Brits Formule 3-kampioenschap zijn niet onopgemerkt gebleven. Aan het begin van het jaar zat de Nederlander zonder stoeltje, nu dingen Formule 3-teams naar zijn diensten. Komend weekend gaat hij aan de slag voor Motopark in de Formule 3 Euroseries op het circuit van Oschersleben.

Van der Zande: Ik begin er bijna gewend aan te raken dat ik steeds gevraagd word in te stappen. Toch bijzonder op dit niveau in de Formule 3, waar normaal serieuze bedragen meegebracht dienen te worden. Ik denk ook dat mijn focus op het mede ontwikkelen van team en wagenkwaliteit er aan bijdraagt. Ik deed dat eigenlijk al bij het Italiaanse Prema Power-team en het begint een visitekaartje te worden.

Verder leef ik bij de dag en helpt mijn motto 'fun is everything' me om in de goede flow te komen. Mijn sponsor Wouter Tavecchio van ID&T zegt altijd 'stay low, get the flow, steal the show!' Als dit weekend goed gaat, zal ik ook de rest van het seizoen bij Motopark afmaken.
