Van der Zande ruikt kansen op titel in Britse Formule 3

Renger van der Zande houdt er een druk programma op na. Naast de Formule 3 Euroseries en het Brits Formule 3-kampioenschap was hij ook al actief in Porsche Supercup en de Benelux Racing League. De Porsche Supercup en de BRL zijn extras, op de Formule 3 concentreert de Nederlander zich. Ondanks dat hij zich eerder dit seizoen in dienst stelde van zijn teamgenoot is het kampioenschap in Groot-Brittannië nog niet uit het zicht.

Van der Zande: Zelden had ik zon druk programma als dit jaar. Ik vind het fantastisch, racen in de Euroseries, racen in Engeland, gastraces in de Porsche Supercup en de BRL en vooral ook veel test- en ontwikkelingswerk op allerlei circuits in Europa. Ook al heb ik in Engeland niet de hele serie kunnen rijden, toch ruik ik kansen om de titel te pakken. Momenteel sta ik derde in het kampioenschap, terwijl ik toch ook veel in dienst van mijn teamgenoot Walter Grubmuller heb gereden. De laatste drie weekenden zal ik proberen op pure snelheid het verschil te maken. Dus je weet maar nooit.
