Renger van der Zande ook in Euroseries succesvol

Renger van der Zande heeft de tweede race van het Formule 3 Euroseries-weekend op het circuit van Barcelona op zijn naam geschreven. De Nederlander, die vorig week besloot om te stoppen met het Brits kampioenschap waarin hij ook zeer succesvol was, bleef Alexander Sims voor.

Van der Zande na afloop: Nou, dat was hem dan! Ik kreeg weer de goede flow te pakken en dan lukt het om ronde na ronde als een klok op de limiet te rijden. Vorige week nog de snelste in het Brits kampioenschap, vandaag hier dominant. Nu moeten de Formule 1-teams maar eens een gebaar maken, haha!

Henki Waldschmidt scoorde ook punten in Barcelona, de Nederlander eindigde in race 1 als vijfde. Carlo van Dam kon zich voor SG Formula niet onttrekken aan de achterhoede.
