George Russell, de winnaar van de McLaren Autosport BRDC Award 2014, is komend seizoen namens Carlin in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 te bewonderen. De 16-jarige Brit veroverde vorig jaar de titel in de BRDC Formule 4 en voegt zich bij de eerder bevestigde Gustavo Menezes.

Russell: "Ik ben verguld om het volgende hoofdstuk van mijn loopbaan aan te vangen bij een team met zo'n rijk gevulde erelijst als Carlin. Mijn doel is om races en kampioenschappen te winnen en deze renstal beschikt over de expertise om dat te doen. Het is een hele eer om mijn naam toe te voegen aan de indrukwekkende lijst van coureurs die voor Carlin hebben gereden en ik kijk uit naar een sterk en mooi 2015."
