Organisatie Euroseries laat vier extra coureurs toe

De Formule 3 Euroseries zal vandaag aan haar tweede raceweekend van 20120 beginnen. Ditmaal racen de coureurs op Hockenheim en vanwege het lage aantal vaste coureurs in de klasse, heeft de organisatie besloten om vier extra coureurs toe te laten.

Slechts dertien coureurs staan voor dit seizoen ingeschreven als vaste coureurs in de Euroseries, een flinke daling ten opzichte van de afgelopen jaren. Daardoor heeft de organisatie besloten om vier extra coureurs toe te laten tot het raceweekend in Hockenheim, waaronder Esteban Gutierrez.

Gutierrez zal dit seizoen uitkomen in de nieuwe GP3-klasse, maar zal als voorbereiding hierop het Formule 3-weekend in Hockenheim rijden. Verder zullen ook Jimmy Eriksson (Motopark Academy), Luis da Silva (China Sonagol Motopark) en Sandro Zeller (Jo Zeller Racing) in actie komen op Hockenheim.

De vrije training is momenteel bezig in Hockenheim, de kwalificatie van de Euroseries is later in de middag.
