Felix Rosenqvist onverslaanbaar op Monza

Felix Rosenqvist was dit weekend heer en meester in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 op het circuit van Monza. De Zweed behaalde voor alle drie de races de pole position en reed vervolgens drie keer onbedreigd naar de winst. De perfecte score, maar niet het maximaal aantal punten.

Voor races twee en drie werden namelijk halve punten uitgedeeld nadat ze voortijdig afgevlagd waren na zware ongelukken. In de race twee vloog Lance Stroll over de kop na een touché met Antonio Giovinazzi. In de derde race was Stroll opnieuw betrokken bij een zware crash, dit keer met Mikkel Jensen.

Omdat in race twee ook Michele Beretta over de kop was gerold en in race 3 medische hulp voor Ryan Tveter nodig was besloot de wedstrijdleiding om het voor gezien te houden. Daardoor is Rosenqvist wel helemaal terug in de titelstrijd, maar had hij er nog beter voor kunnen staan na dit weekend.

Nou wanneer ik kijk naar de races in de F3 en gisteren naar de Indycars, snap ik de heisa en poeha van Massa aangaande Max en zijn ervaring niet. Gisteren toch tal van zeer ervaren rijders zien duwen en trekken en er af vliegen. Vooral de actie van Kimball bij Dixon was om te gieren!!!
