Felix Rosenqvist slaat dubbelslag in Portugal

Felix Rosenqvist is de nieuwe leider in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De Zweed won twee van de drie races op het circuit van Portimao dit weekend terwijl de concurrentie faalde. De andere overwinning ging naar Jake Dennis, die ook nog twee keer als tweede eindigde.

Antonio Giovinazzi scoorde maar tien puntjes in Portugal. Van Amersfoort Racing en Charles Leclerc zijn al langer de weg kwijt. De jonge Monegask was in de eerste seizoenshelft een revelatie, maar inmiddels is hij al tien races op een rij niet op het podium gefinisht.

Ook teamgenoten Alessio Lorandi en Arjun Maini slagen er al een tijdje niet meer in om punten te sprokkelen. In het kampioenschap is de stand in de top nu als volgt: Rosenqvist heeft 378 punten, gevolgd door Giovinazzi met 343,5 punten, Leclerc met 324,5 punten en Dennis met 309 punten.
