Joël Eriksson beklimt ladder met Motopark

Joël Eriksson racet in 2016 voor Motopark in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De 17-jarige Zweed is geen onbekende voor de renstal, samen waren ze vorig jaar actief in het Duits Formule 4-kampioenschap. Eriksson eindigde daarin als tweede achter kampioen Marvin Dienst.

Hij beklimt de volgende trede van de autosportladder met Motopark. Eriksson: "De Formule 3 is een van de meest competitieve series van dit moment en het zal een hele uitdaging worden. Dat gezegd hebbende, bij de wintertests heb ik een hoop geleerd en ik genoot van het besturen van deze auto. Ik ben heel blij om deze stap met Motopark te maken en ik kan niet wachten totdat het seizoen aanvangt."
