Team Motopark contracteert Guan Yu Zhou

Guan Yu Zhou voegt zich bij Sergio Sette Camara, Niko Kari en Joël Eriksson in de line-up va Team Motopark voor het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap. Zhou, een 16-jarige Chinees, behoort tot het opleidingsprogramma van Ferrari en eindigde vorig jaar als tweede in het Italiaans Formule 4-kampioenschap.

Teambaas Timo Rumpfkeil: "Zijn pure talent werd ons duidelijk bij enkele gastoptredens in het Duits Formule 4-kampioenschap. Toen Guan onze Formule 3-auto testte, imponeerde hij met zijn snelheid en consistentie. We zijn overtuigd dat hij dit jaar hoge ogen gaat gooien in het kampioenschap voor rookies." Zhou sluit zich daarbij aan: "Mijn doel is om een top drie-klassering bij de rookies in de wacht te slepen. Daarnaast wil ik zoveel mogelijk leren en mezelf verbeteren."
