Carlin legt Li Zhi Cong als derde rijder vast

Li Zhi Cong voegt zich na Ryan Tveter en Alessio Lorandi als derde coureur bij het team van Carlin voor het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De 22-jarige Chinees is geen onbekende voor het team. In 2014 kwam hij voor Carlin uit in het Brits Formule 3-kampioenschap.

Vorig jaar was hij reeds voor Fortec actief in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. Cong: "Ik ben heel blij om terug te zijn bij Carlin. Het is een geweldige mogelijkheid om voort te borduren op mijn eerste seizoen op dit niveau en ik mik op sterke resultaten voor mijn tweede jaar in deze klasse. Er is vast nog een hoop te leren, maar daar ben ik bij een van de meest ervaren teams op de juiste plek voor en kijk uit naar komend seizoen."
