Stroll grote afwezige op startlijst voor Macau

Lance Stroll ontbreekt volgende maand bij de Macau Grand Prix, een van de meest prestigieuze Formule 3-races van het jaar. Dat blijkt uit de startlijst die door de internationale autosportbond FIA is vrijgegeven. Stroll heeft op die dag al andere verplichtingen, staat er in het persbericht.

Er staan op 20 november wel wat andere opvallende namen op de grid in Macau. Felix Rosenqvist, winnaar van vorig jaar en Europees kampioen Formule 3 van 2015, verruilt de DTM even voor een terugkeer in de Formule 3. Hetzelfde doet Daniel Juncadella.

Zij krijgen onder meer gezelschap van Japans Formule 3-kampioen Kenta Yamashita en Formule Renault 2.0 Eurocup-kampioen Lando Norris. Callum Ilott, Anthoine Hubert en Pedro Piquet verdedigen in Macau de eer van Van Amersfoort Racing.
