Carlin contracteert Ferdinand Habsburg

Het team van Carlin heeft de eerste rijder voor het seizoen 2017 in het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap bekendgemaakt. Het gaat om Ferdinand Habsburg, een 19-jarige Oostenrijker die vorig jaar in de Euroformula Open actief was en daarin twee keer won op weg naar een tweede plek.

Habsburg: "Ik ben opgewonden over het komende seizoen na een sterk jaar in de Euroformula Open. Dat heeft me veel vertrouwen gegeven voor een competitief seizoen met Carlin. Het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 is de volgende stap. Een goed schema in de winter plus racen in de Toyota Racing Series in Nieuw-Zeeland zouden me goed moeten voorbereiden op komend jaar. Carlin heeft een geweldige geschiedenis in de Formule 3, dus alles ziet er positief uit voor 2017."
