Zuid-Korea blaast evenement F3 Superprix af

De F3 Superprix, die een week na de beroemde Formule 3-race op het stratencircuit van Macau gepland stond op het circuit van Yeongam, gaat niet door. Macau-organisator Barry Bland blies het evenement nieuw leven in en rekende op een startveld van dertig auto's, maar de KAVO heeft de organisatie laten weten dat de F3 Superprix geen doorgang kan vinden.

Bland legt uit: KAVO heeft de F3 Superprix afgelast vanwege force majeure. Wij begrijpen dat het gaat om een juridische detail van het circuit waartegen bezwaar is aangetekend. Het zou een tijdelijk probleem zijn, meer weten wij op dit moment ook niet. Dit is teleurstellend en brengt veel problemen met zich mee. Onze prioriteit is om iedereen nu zo snel mogelijk na Macau thuis te krijgen.
