Ameya Vaidyanathan voegt zich bij team van Carlin

Het team van Carlin breidt voor de rest van het seizoen in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 uit naar vier auto's. De Britse renstal voegt Ameya Vaidyanathan toe aan de line-up. Vaidyanathan, een 20-jarige coureur uit India, combineert het racen in het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap met een programma in de EuroFormula Open Series.

Hij zal aansluiten bij de drie reguliere coureurs Lando Norris, Ferdinand Hapsburg en Jehan Daruvala. "Ik verheug me erop om mijn verplichtingen in de EuroFormula Open Series te combineren met racen in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. Het team van Carlin is het hele seizoen al sterk en met drie snelle teamgenoten als Lando, Ferdinand en Jehan krijg ik de kans om te leren en mezelf te verbeteren. Het veld in de Formule 3 is ultra competitief, maar ik ben vastberaden bij te dragen aan de successen van het team", aldus Vaidyanathan.
