Petru Florescu voegt zich bij Team Motopark

Team Motopark doet de rest van dit seizoen in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 een beroep op Petru Florescu als aanvulling op de bestaande line-up. De 18-jarige Roemeen, in het dagelijks leven actief in de EuroFormula Open, bereidt zich door middel van drie raceweekenden in de Formule 3 voor op 2018.

Florescu: "Voor Team Motopark debuteren in het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap is een opwindend vooruitzicht! Ik kende veel mensen binnen het team al en ik voelde me dus meteen thuis. Team Motopark is niet alleen snel op de baan, maar heeft ook indruk op me gemaakt met hun duidelijke structuur en doortastende procedures. Het wordt geen makkelijk avontuur, maar het team zal me helpen om alles zo snel mogelijk onder de knie te krijgen. Ik ben blij met deze kans om alvast ervaring op te doen met het oog op volgend jaar."

Florescu rijdt vanaf komend weekend op de Nürburgring bij Team Motopark aan de zijde van Joël Eriksson, David Beckmann, Keyvan Andres en Marino Sato.
