FIA roept Formula 3 International Trophy in het leven

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft in een poging om de aantrekkingskracht van de Formule 3 te vergroten van enkele toonaangevende races, zoals de Masters op Zandvoort en de Formula 3 Grand Prix in Macau, een internationale serie gemaakt. De Formula 3 International Trophy bestaat uit zes evenementen, gebruikt dezelfde puntentelling als de Formule 1, en de top drie in de eindstand verdient een superlicentie.
