Guan Yu Zhou op herhaling bij Prema in Formule 3

Guan Yu Zhou rijdt dit jaar voor het derde opeenvolgende seizoen voor Prema in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. In zijn debuutseizoen in 2016 scoorde de 18-jarige Chinees 101 punten, waarmee hij zich op een dertiende positie nestelde.

Vorig seizoen verbeterde hij zich met een totaal van 149 punten naar een achtste plek. Zhou behoort tot het opleidingsprogramma van Ferrari. Dit jaar krijgt hij bij Prema gezelschap van mede Ferrari-talenten Robert Schwartzman en Marcus Armstrong en van Ralf Aron.

Zhou: "Ik ben heel blij om me voor 2018 weer bij Prema te voegen. Het werk van de afgelopen twee jaar heeft zich uitbetaald voor mij en het team is ook zeer succesvol geweest, dus ik verheug me op een geweldig jaar samen. Ik voel me meer dan klaar voor het komende seizoen."
