Team Ma-Con keert na vier jaar terug in Formule 3

Team Ma-Con heeft zich weer eens ingeschreven voor het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De renstal maakte in 2013 voor het laatst zijn opwachting in de opstapklasse. Team Ma-Con heeft ook al een rijder voor 2018 vastgelegd. Hij luistert naar de naam Julian Hanses en is afkomstig uit de Formule 4.

Teambaas Otto Schwadtke heeft veel vertrouwen in Hanses. "Ik heb hem vorig jaar gevolgd en was onder de indruk van zijn aanpak. We kijken ernaar uit om terug te keren in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. We zijn uiteraard underdog, maar ik weet zeker dat we af en toe een mooie verrassing kunnen laten zien. Het team is gemotiveerd en het vuur voor dit project brandt bij iedereen in onze organisatie."

Hanses: "Het is een grote eer voor mij om te racen in een serie waarin de groten der aarde ook gereden hebben. Ayrton Senna en Michael Schumacher waren bijvoorbeeld succesvol in de Formule 3, dat plaveide de weg voor een prachtige carrière. Ik besef dat het geen gemakkelijke opgave wordt. De competitie is sterk en de meeste circuits zijn nieuw voor mij. Ik kan niet wachten tot het seizoen begint."
