Laszlo Toth completeert line-up van Campos Racing voor 2021

Campos Racing heeft de line-up voor het komende Formule 3-seizoen rond. Laslo Toth, een 20-jarige Hongaar, voegt zich bij de eerder bevestigde Amaury Cordeel en Lorenzo Colombo. Toth is afkomstig uit de Formule Renault Eurocup, waarin hij vorig jaar beslag legde op de zestiende plaats.

Adrian Campos junior, zoon van de in januari overleden Campos-oprichter Adrian Campos: "De dood van mijn vader is een zware klap geweest. Voor mij als zijn zoon, maar ook voor iedereen in het team. Nu moeten we verder gaan en zijn erfgoed voortzetten."

"Mijn vader was ons al aan het klaarstomen voor een transitie. Hij wilde weer van racen genieten zonder verantwoordelijkheid te dragen. Iedereen binnen het team is tot op het bot gemotiveerd en met Laszlo als laatste puzzelstukje in onze Formule 3 line-up weet ik zeker dat we hem trots zullen maken."

Toth voegt toe: "Ik ben blij en vereerd om mijn loopbaan te vervolgen bij een team met zo'n rijke geschiedenis. Ik wil graag stapje voor stapje vooruit blijven gaan, zoals ik altijd gedaan heb. Dit wordt mijn eerste seizoen in de Formule 3. De belangrijkste doelen zijn om mezelf verder te ontwikkelen en zoveel mogelijk ervaring op te doen."
