Colombo wint voor het allereerst F3-race op Spa-Francorchamps

Lorenzo Colombo heeft onder zeer natte omstandigheden de eerste sprintrace op Spa-Francorchamps gewonnen. De Italiaan begon vooraan achter de safety car en was na vijftien ronden heer en meester in de Belgische Ardennen. Jak Crawfard finishte tweede en pakte zijn eerste podium. Roman Stanek werd derde. De F3-race was in eerste instantie uitgesteld omdat één van de medische helikopters niet kon opstijgen.

Colombo kwam in Hongarije, vlak voor de zomerstop, nog als eerste over de streep maar kreeg een tijdstraf omdat de Campos-coureur niet de juiste afstand hield achter de safety car.

Zaterdagmiddag is de tweede sprintrace.
