Doohan zet goede vorm door en wint ook hoofdrace op nat Spa

Voorafgaand aan dit weekend leek de strijd om het F3-kampioenschap als een nachtkaars uit te gaan, maar dankzij Jack Doohan is het gevecht om de titel nog springlevend. De Australiër won de hoofdrace op een nat Spa-Francorchamps, pakte daarmee de tweede zege van het weekend en een vracht aan punten.

Dat terwijl de nummer één in de stand en torenhoge favoriet Dennis Hauger maar twee schamele puntjes scoorde. De Noor ziet zijn ruime voorsprong van 63 punten in één weekend grotendeels verdampen. Doohan staat nu nog maar 25 punten achter. Met nog zes races te gaan, kan er dus nog van alles gebeuren.

Doohan finishte voor MP Motorsport-coureur Victor Martins en Frederik Vesti. De volgende F3-races zijn al volgende week op het circuit van Zandvoort.

Aha!!!! Dat wist ik helemaal niet... Ik dacht ff een flauw grapje te maken... Blijkbaar zit het racen (2 of 4 wielen) in die familie dus ook in het bloed....
