Arthur Leclerc rijdt ook komend seizoen voor Prema Racing

Arthur Leclerc verdedigt ook komend seizoen de kleuren van Prema Racing in de Formule 3. De jonge Monegask, het broertje van Ferrari-rijder Charles Leclerc, legde vorig jaar beslag op de tiende plaats in de eindstand. Hij wist gedurende zijn debuutseizoen in de Formule 3 wel twee races op zijn naam te schrijven, op Paul Ricard en Zandvoort.

Dat was een leerjaar, nu moet hij de opgedane ervaring omzetten in betere resultaten. Arthur Leclerc over zijn contractverlenging bij Prema Racing: "Ik ben extreem blij om het werk waar we in 2021 samen met Prema in de Formule 3 aan zijn begonnen voort te zetten. Ik ben van mening dat we vorig jaar redelijk gepresteerd hebben en 2022 is een mooie gelegenheid om alles wat ik geleerd heb in de praktijk te brengen. Ik kan niet wachten om het seizoen te starten."

Prema Racing-teambaas Rene Rosin voegt toe: "Het is geweldig om onze samenwerking met Arthur een vervolg te geven. Ik weet zeker dat hij de stijgende lijn door zal trekken, hij heeft vorig jaar aangetoond de potentie te bezitten om zich in het gevecht vooraan te mengen. De ervaring van vorig jaar, met de uitdagende raceweekenden bestaande uit drie wedstrijden, zal hem voor komend seizoen absoluut helpen bij zijn focus en daar hebben wij als team weer profijt van."
