'Debutant Barter geholpen aan ontstoken verstandkies'

Niet alleen het nieuwe Formule 1-seizoen gaat dit weekend van start, ook de opstapklassen trappen hun nieuwe seizoen af in Bahrein. De Formule 3 komt dit weekend ook weer in actie, maar voor de debuterende coureur Hugh Barter kan het zomaar een zeer vervelend weekend gaan worden in met Midden-Oosten.

GPToday.net heeft namelijk vernomen dat Barter deze ochtend het Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir heeft verlaten met een stevige pijn in zijn mond. Het bleek te gaan om een ontstoken verstandkies, dit zorgde voor veel pijn bij de jonge getalenteerde Australische coureur die is geboren in Japan. Barter heeft inmiddels een ingreep onder gaan.

Het lijkt er namelijk op dat het Bahreinse koningshuis hulp heeft verleend bij de kwestie. De coureur van Campos Racing is namelijk geholpen door het koningshuis om een zo goed mogelijke arts te vinden. De pijnlijke kies is inmiddels getrokken maar het is nog onduidelijk of Barter kan rijden tijdens de seizoenstart in Bahrein. Het team van Campos rijdt verder met Josep María Martí en Christian Mansell.

      Jack zou vast Willem kunnen activeren om eurm zichzelf te activeren om een kies te trekken.

      Dat ik hierop reageer. Dat hier een artikel aan gewijd wordt.

      Plooij had soms wel mooie dingen. En heeft in het verleden vaker voor teamleden wel eens een reparatie aan een tand gedaan. Jack komt weer met een nieuw boek. Waarin hij oa verteld dat hij is geopereerd aan zijn hart. Zelf heb ik hem een paar keer gezien. Hij gaf eind jaren negentig rondleidingen door paddocks namens Equipe Verschuur waar ik toen werkte. Deed hij echt hartstikke leuk. Maar toen ik een paar jaar terug naast me zat bij de presentatie van de Dutch GP, vond ik zijn houding wat arroganter. Toch heeft hij binnen de F1 nog veel vrienden. Hij was goed met teams om de relaties te onderhouden wat hem nog wel eens voorrang gaf met interviews. En hij had ook wel leuke dolletjes met rijders. Maar sommige interviews met de rijders kon je het gezicht van de rijder vaak lezen. Zo van nee, ga weg. Dat was dan weer tenenkrommend.
